FDA SPF-4 Sunscreen Standard

Solar Light Company is pleased to announce that it can now offer a pre-analyzed and certified SPF-4 Homosalate Standard for sale for laboratory use. A certificate of analysis for Homosalate content, and a certification that a clinical human SPF test has been performed on at least twenty subjects and that an SPF of 4 has been achieved will accompany each batch. Our batches have passed preservative challenge testing and have shown stable Homosalate content, microbiological integrity and emulsion stability for at least one year (25C).

Xenon Arc Lamp

UV Solar Simulators use a Xenon short arc lamp. These lamps have an output light spectrum very close to that of full sunlight and can be filtered to provide a very close match to terrestrial UV spectrums. These lamps are guaranteed for 800 hours of usage. We carry 150, 300, and 1000watt lamps. All of our lamps are tested to meet our stringent laboratory standards.

PMA Battery Charger

This battery charger sends the right amount of current to fully charger the industrial strengths batteries in you PMA meter. A full charge will take 15 hours. Charger is specially adapted for the unit and the industrial strength batteries.
