Attention GPS users
An update for the MICROTOPS II firmware is available.  It is recommended that users who use their GPS receiver for transferring coordinate information upgrade to the most current version of MICROTOPS II firmware. Those not using a GPS to upload information to the MICROTOPS II need not apply the update.  
Download and run the appropriate upgrade program on your PC and it will guide you step-by-step through the upgrade process. (See table below for your version)

System requirements are as follows: 

  1. 486 33 mHz or faster PC 
  2. Windows3.1,95,98 (NT 4.0 not supported) 
  3. Available serial port 
  4. MICROTOPS II serial cable 
Solar Light strongly suggests that MICROTOPS IIs used in conjunction with GPS devices be upgraded to the most recent firmware version.
