This continuous laser power detector is a thermal sensor with 5% accuracy of full scale from 250nm to 10.6 µm.

The PMA2142 is available in three full scale power levels of 3watts(PMA2142-3), 10 watts(PMA2142-10), and 30 watts(PMA2142-30). The PMA2142-3 and PMA2142-10 have an active area of 2.57 cm² and the PMA2142-30 has an active area of 2.84 cm². Each of these detectors includes an instrument base. An 8/32 threaded mounting hole is used to attach the 0.5" shaft which is inserted into the adjustable base. These detectors are manufactured and calibrated for Solar Light Co. by Thorlabs Inc.
