PMA Series Underwater Detector Housing
UV/Visible/IR
|
|
Water attenuation measurements require two matched
radiation detectors. An underwater housing allows one detector to be submerged while the
other remains at the surface. The pair of detectors is connected to a PMA2100 meter which
reads and logs both detectors and their outputs simultaneously. |
|
| The waterproofed detector can be safely submerged up to 100 meters. The rugged housing
easily withstands harsh environments. Two #10-32 tapped holes on the bottom of the
detector permit mounting underwater or on the surface. The weight, at three pounds, makes
submersion easy. Most PMA series detectors can be installed in the underwater
housing. |
