#59 of 678 scored in California by Solar.com Installer Score

How does Indaspec compare where you live? Rankings are local; an installer that leads one city can trail in the next. See how they rank in your city →

Why this differs from star ratings: most five-star reviews say “great company” and stop, and star averages reward that. These category scores only count reviews with concrete evidence, weighted by recency and the reviewer’s track record. A company can hold a strong star average while specific categories score lower; that gap is usually where the real story is. Categories with more complaints than praise are the questions worth asking any bidder, not necessarily dealbreakers.

Where Indaspec builds

County-by-county activity from CPUC records through May 2026.

What this data covers: *Counts on this page, including the totals up top, come from investor-owned-utility interconnection records (SCE, SDG&E, PG&E). Work in municipal-utility territory, such as LADWP or city utilities, and outside California does not appear here, so this company's true totals are higher than shown. Unlike the county rankings, this profile also shows counties below the 250-install ranking floor.

Occasional follow-up gaps. A small number of reviewers say they wanted faster email replies or more proactive updates during the project. Representative review excerpt: "One thing they could do a bit better is be more responsive on the emails and more proactive communication."

Timeline reliability

Timeline Reliability7.8/10

Workmanship & site care

Workmanship8.6/10

Workmanship and site care are described positively in most reviews, with frequent praise for neat installs, professionalism, and careful handling of roof-related work. There is one notable complaint review about an installation problem, but it appears to be isolated within an otherwise favorable set.Solar.com's composite of published customer feedback, not a customer quote

Clean, professional crews. Reviewers often describe the installation teams as professional, clean, and safety-conscious while working on site. Representative review excerpt: "They're true professionals, starting from thorough design and engineering, through neat and clean installation, safety consciousness, tracking down electrical issues within our old wiring, permitting and inspection, keeping me informed..."

Post-install feedback is mostly positive, with reviewers saying systems are working well and that the company stayed engaged when issues came up. Systems performing well. Several reviewers report that their systems have been working reliably after activation and that monitoring tools have been useful. Representative review excerpt: "Live Data & Monitoring The system has been working flawlessly, but the standout feature for me is the monitoring app."

Persistent troubleshooting. Some customers say the team returned to diagnose issues and continued working until the underlying problem was identified and addressed. Representative review excerpt: "They really cared about getting things right and persistently came back to work on my system until we figured out it was an equipment problem, not a problem with the..."

Monitoring complexity in one case. One reviewer described a more complicated installation that did not result in the ideal monitoring setup, showing that advanced configurations can be less straightforward. Representative review excerpt: "Because of the complications of our installation with the two different kinds of panels and the battery, we do not have the ideal monitoring system: We can see what the..."

Bottom line: INDASPEC’s review profile is broadly positive, with especially strong feedback on workmanship, communication, and post-install support. The main caveat is that a few reviewers mention slower follow-up or isolated installation issues, but these do not appear to dominate the overall corpus.

Important context: this chart shows investor-owned-utility records only. Companies that shift work toward municipal-utility territory (LADWP and city power departments) or other states will show declining bars here even while building steadily elsewhere, and 2025-26 records also lag real installation dates. How we built this data

Methodology: Counts are residential PV interconnections in investor-owned-utility territory (PG&E, SCE, SDG&E) per CPUC Rule 21 public records through May 2026. Postal and name variants are merged. Municipal utility territory such as LADWP, Glendale, Pasadena, Burbank, Anaheim, and Riverside Public Utilities is not included in those CPUC counts. Counts show recorded installations, not quality ratings. Reported costs are self-reported on owned-system interconnections. No installer can pay for placement.

Who we are: Solar.com is a solar marketplace — we connect homeowners with installers and earn a fee when projects move forward. These rankings and scores are computed from public installation records and published customer reviews. No installer can pay for placement, and no installer — including those we work with — can pay to change a score.
